Tetra Launches New Reptile Range at GLEE 2005

Tetra, the leading fish food and treatments specialist in the UK, is expanding its presence in the reptile market with a new range of reptile foods under the TetraFauna brand. Already an established brand leader in the US and Europe, this is the first time TetraFauna has been launched in the UK market. As with all of Tetra’s products, the range reflects a commitment to quality, innovation and state of the art manufacturing.
The new TetraFauna Reptile range includes a number of well-established foods, such as TetraFauna ReptoMin and TetraFauna Gammarus, alongside an innovative complete diet for tortoises – TetraFauna Tortoise.

The new TetraFauna range includes TetraFauna Tortoise which is one of the only foods on the market which is correctly formulated for tortoises. It contains a low level of plant proteins, high levels of fibre, and the correct calcium to phosphorus ratio to ensure good health and condition. TetraFauna Tortoise offers a complete diet and removes any difficulties and risk associated with using fresh foods that may be lacking in essential nutrients.
TetraFauna Reptomin is a complete diet for aquatic turtles based on a more carnivorous formula, to meet their natural dietary needs. It is highly digestible in order to reduce water pollution and softens quickly to make it easy to eat. It has the correct levels of calcium and phosphorus and vitamin D3, which is essential for healthy shell growth. The new food also contains Active Formula, and combination of ingredients to strengthen the immune system..
TetraFauna Gammarus offers a nutritious treat food for aquatic turtles, adding extra variety to their staple diet. Consisting of whole, natural river shrimp, TetraFauna Gammarus is the ideal compliment to TetraFauna ReptoMin
TetraFauna ReptoCal & TetraFauna ReptoLife are dietary supplements for enriching live and fresh foods. ReptoCal is a specific calcium supplement whilst ReptoLife contains a complete range of vitamins and minerals.
TetraFauna Fresh Delica consists of bloodworms freshly preserved in a vitamin-rich jelly. This means they don’t need to be stored in a fridge or freezer, and don’t require handling. They are ideal as either a treat or main diet for crustaceans, newts and other amphibians.
